EK∞: Authentic Emergence and Equus + Emergence = EGEL
by John Farrell
John Farrell has had the luck to work closely with David Grove in developing
Emergent Knowledge in coaching over the last couple of years and has been working
with Holigral they developed and are now delivering coaching and training courses
in Emergence. You can find John at Coaching Emergence.
The articles here have a degree of overlap. The first provides an introduction to
Johns philosophy of coaching. You will note that theres also a great
deal of overlap between coaching and what we think of as therapy. The second article
describes the application of Authentic Emergence in an equine
environment.
After you read these articles, you may want to expand your knowledge of
clean language, originally developed by David Grove. If so,
youll want to read Metaphors in Mind: Transformation Through
Symbolic Modelling, by James Lawley and Penny Tompkins. It is an
excellent book, and I (Joel) will have a review of it online soon. But ... you
can read it before then.
