This course covers the fundamentals of Energy-based healing. In includes an overview of the history and philosophy of Energy-based, often considered spiritual, healing, common techniques for perceiving Energy and using it for healing purposes. The workshop also compares different Energy-based healing modalities, such as Healing Touch™, Reiki, Therapeutic Touch™, and others. Participants will have opportunity to experience giving and receiving Energy-based healing both with and without a massage table.
This is an ideal workshop for those who want to learn more about Energy-based healing or refresh their skills and gain insight into a variety of healing modalities.The SCS program is recognized by Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) as meeting or exceeding industry standards, and completion of the entire program qualifies one for Practitioner level membership in ABMP.
