The SCS curriculum includes an introduction to Healing with Energy (SCS Level 1), an introduction to Healing with Language (SCS Level 2), SCS Practitioner Certification (SCS Levels 3A and 3B), SCS Master Practitioner Certification (SCS Level 4), and SCS Trainer Training (SCS Level 5). Completion of SCS Level 3B qualifies you for “Practitioner” level membership in Associated Bodyworkers and Massage Professionals (ABMP).

If you have already earned certification in a recognized form of energy medicine (such as Reiki, Healing Touch™, or Therapeutic Touch™) or neurolinguistics, check with Debra to see if you qualify for credit in equivalent portions of the SCS curriculum.

The SCS program also includes training in Pre- and Postsurgical Support with SCS™ and training in Neurolinguistic Programming for comprehensive coverage of mind-body change work to enhance health and well-being.

Individual Attention and “Hands-on” Training

Most SCS Trainings include a combination of healing with energy, usually involving table work, and healing with language. Because SCS Practitioner Certification requires the demonstration of skills, participants spend a lot of time doing table work on one another while we observe.

Those new to healing with energy have ample opportunity to develop not only the cognitive appreciation for energy-based healing modalities, but also the awareness of giving and receiving healing energies. The SCS program offers you the opportunity to explore and discover both the similarities and differences in energy modalities.

One of the magical things about healing with energy is that both the therapist and the client benefit. In SCS workshops, everyone has opportunity to play both roles, learning how to give and receive with comfort and gratitude—and how to receive while giving as well.

SCS trainings include a wide variety of energy techniques and teach participants to use them in combination with neurolinguistics and guided imagery, taking full advantage of the deep relaxation that people experience while receiving energy-based table work. Participants learn the requisite skills and develop confidence in using them even as they benefit from the work they receive from others.

While the trainings are not a substitute for appropriate medical or psychological interventions, most participants enjoy an improved sense of health and well-being as a result of completing the workshops.
