As he sat in an alcohol rehabilitation group session he noticed a very large shadow on the floor. He moved around to confirm it was not “his” shadow, simply “a” shadow.
Looking down at it, a former boss came to mind.
A few days later he understood.
His former boss had died suddenly of a major heart attack the day he had seen the shadow….
